V čele se Stranou

Když se tenkrát pohly ledy,
člověk plný naděje,
myslel jsem si, že se věci změní,
že svinstvo vyhnije

Zdálo se, že se vzduch dá dýchat
zdání klame a chce se říct
dál se dusím a musím přiznat,
nádech - výdech z plných plic

Když se tehdy zvedl vítr
naděje, že se zdi vyvrátí,
vzala za své, základy jsou pevné
nostalgie, ta se neztratí

Už mi řekli, jak se dýchá
jak se doufá, jak se sní,
jak se historie znovu opakuje,
jak se znovu naplní

Dnes mi řekli, jak mám myslet
o čem mluvit, o čem snít,
kterou roli v týhle komedii sehrát,
smysl textu naplnit

Ideály v srdci zabít
zapomenout, vymazat
vzít to zpět a jednou zakázané věci
zase znovu zakázat

Stejné mozky, stejné ruce
starý obraz malují
Na plátno, kde se místo barev slzy
spolu s krví spojují

Už mi řekli, jak mám myslet
a tak myslím a přemýšlím
o ideálech jedné revoluce
naplněné pokrytectvím

Přesto tu stojím a kroutím nevěřícně hlavou
Směju se tričkám s Che Guevarou
Vzteky pláču, až mi slzy zaschnou
Žádnou revoluci v čele se Stranou

Volným pádem stoupám vzhůru
dolů až na dno, kde se znovu odrazím
cestou známou, cestou vzdoru
znovu stěnu hlavou prorážím

Plamen zhasl a tma se vtírá
krev na rukou zůstává
stejných soudců, stejných katů
stejných fízlů bezmála

Stejné mozky, stejné ruce
starý obraz malují
Na plátno, kde se místo barev slzy
spolu s krví spojují

Už mi řekli, jak mám myslet
a tak myslím a přemýšlím
o ideálech jedné revoluce
naplněné pokrytectvím

When the ice broke back then,
people full of hope,
I thought that things would change
and the shit would rot out

It seemed that the air could be breathed
But appearances can be deceptive
I suffocate and I must admit,
breath – exhale, from the top of my lungs

When the wind blew up back then
The hope that the walls would fall down,
died a death, the foundations are solid
nostalgia won't just disappear

I have been told how to breathe
How to hope, how to dream,
how history repeats itself,
how it comes true again

Today they told me how to think
What to talk about, what to dream about,
which role to play in this comedy,
to come up to expectations

to kill ideals in my heart
to forgot, to erase
to take it back and forbid again
things once forbidden

The same brains, the same hands
Keep painting the old picture
On a canvas where instead of colours
tears merge with blood

about the ideals of a revolution
filled with hypocrisy
